Notes:
Compared with the type material of Pygmea myosotoides the leaves are narrower and the unique pattern of hair distribution less marked, but note the tendency for the hairs on the inner surface to be confined to a small central patch though they are numerous on the margins and outer surface. The tendency for the marginal hairs to be stiff and appressed towards the tip is also significant. These specimens resemble Pygmea pulvinaris in leaf shape and general appearance but, inter alia, this species has much coarser hairs. - M.B. Forde 16 May 1963.
