Tree c. 30 metres. Leaves whitish-banded below. Buds resinous, shoots brown. Lvs. not properly radially spreading.Reproductive shoots from near top of tree. Cones in collection; brown, 15.5 - 19 cm × c. 4 cm. Bract apices exserted, not deflexed.
