Herbarium F.G. Gibbs number 395. Plentiful. Supplementary Label: Number 395 T.F. Cheeseman determined as Gentiana patula var. in letter to F.G. Gibbs (31 March 1905). In letter of 18 April 1905 he writes " I note what you say about the two Gentians number 369 and 395 being very different. Perhaps I have been hasty in referring both of them to Gentiana patula. I will look into the matter more carefully when I prepare the appendix to the "Flora".' See CHR 118637. Sheets A and B.
