Habitat:
Lowland broad-leaved forest dominated by Mysine salicifolia, Weinmannia racemosa, Rhopalostylus sapida, Cyathea medullaris, Dicksonia spp., Freycinetia; limestone bed-rock. Shaded, rotting decorticated log with firm wood.
Notes:
Very common at this locality where no other Dicronolmas [Dicranolomas] occur. c.fr. !AJF [Fife AJ] 5/2000 (This specimen used for illustration for Moss Flora of New Zealand.)
